Hi! My name is Mary Flores. I am the creator of Abandoned-online magazine for young girls. I am 21 years old and I have a 2 year old daughter named Victoria. She is my world. I grew up with my grandparents because both of my parents have mental problems which evolved after they were born. Being raised by my grandparents, I saw first hand that I was not given all the knowledge I needed to make good choices. I am not saying that my grandparents did a bad job raising me exactly. It was not their fault that they were from a completely different generation of human per-say.I was never given much advice on beauty (besides the beauty tips known in the 20's), relationships, etc. I wanted to create an online magazine geared towards the interest of young girls in as many aspects of life as I could. My plan was to put up all the columns of information that I wish I had known when I was younger and possibly it may help someone. I always say to myself " If I had known this 1, 3, or 5 years ago I would not have had to go through all this heart break".
I am very interested in psychology, childhood education, and web design. I am not exactly sure what I am going to major in yet, but I plan on starting up again this fall. Well, I better work on the magazine. Enjoy!!
